부베의 『역경』 이해 : 파리본(Bn. Ms. Fr. 17239)을 중심으로
이 논문은 18세기 초엽에 중국의 시찰관(Visitator)이었던 장 폴 고장 (Jean Paul Gozan, 1659-1732) 신부가 던진 여섯 물음에 대해서 부베 가 1712년 11월 2일에 제출한 답변을 담고 있는 파리필사본(Bn. Ms. Fr. 17239. 34r-38r)의 비판 정본(crtical edition)과 학술 주석을 겸비한 한 국어 번역을 제시하는 것이다. 이 문헌은 특히 색은주의(索隱主義)에 대한 부베의 생각이 무엇인지를 보여주는 중요한 것이다. 그리스도교의 거룩한 신비(sacra mysteria)가 중국의 고대 문헌에서 발견된다는 점이 바로 그것 이다. 라틴어 비판정본과 이해에 도움이 되는 학술 주석을 보충한 한국어 번역은 이에 대한 증거들이다.
A Critical Edition of Bouvet's Epistle(Bn. Ms. Fr. 17239 35r-38r)
This paper aims at making a critical edition of Joachim Bouvet's letter (Bn. Ms. Fr. 17239 35r-38r) to Visitator Jean Paul Gozan. For better understanding, I add a Korean translation with scholarly commentaries. This letter shows explicitly Bouvet's original idea on figurism. He contended that the law and the sacred mystery of Christianity are to be discovered in Chinese ancient texts, especially in Yijing (『易經』). Evidences for this are demonstrated in the critical edition and Korean translation with commentaries.
